Remind me…
that my giving up on a dream doesn’t negate what God could be doing behind the scenes
that recovery for anyone is complicated, heart-wrenching and never a given
that words can be wholly inadequate and a hug far more eloquent
that my “well-thought-out plans” don’t govern the universe
that an attempt is better than refusing to try at all
that gratitude can change the course of a day
that seemingly little things matter
that hope is ever present
